Though it requires more effort to pull, these latches prevent items in the cabinet or closet from forcing the door open while the RV is underway. One of its main advantages is that by using two of these latches on one door, the door catchers double from 5 to 10lbs. Moreover, these latches work fine with drawers by mounting both sides of the catch if there is room and the strike side isn't in the way when the drawer is open. These 4 packs are a good OEM replacement and they come with an accurate dimension picture under "Catch and Keeper Specifications," so it will be easy to determine if they are the right fit for your cabinet.
