The Evapolar cartridge is a replaceable filter that is designed to work with the Evapolar personal evaporative air cooler. The cartridge is made up of natural non-organic absorbing and evaporating pads, which are fully biodegradable, and plastic. The cartridge filters impurities out of air and water to provide clean and fresh air. It is recommended to replace the cartridge every 2-4 months depending on the water and air quality and usage per day. The cartridge should be replaced if it changes colour or the outgoing air is not as cool as before. The cartridge is compatible with the Evapolar models ev-500, ev-1000, ev-1500, and ev-3000. The cartridge can get wet as it is designed to evaporate water from the filter surface to cool down the air. The cartridge may have a white or grey fluffy residue on the side where it faces the fan, which is caught dust. The cartridge does not require cleaning and can be disposed of with organic waste.
